Spring is in the Air

Okay, Spring might not be in the air where you and I live this early March, but I was recently visiting family in Texas, and Spring has definitely taken up residence in the Lone Star State.

Then, I came back home to snow.

Yep, like Punxsutawney Phil predicted when he saw his shadow on Groundhog’s Day, my fellow Seattleites and I appear to be in for several more weeks of winter.

Still, all the blooms on those trees in Texas did put me into a springtime frame of mind. That’s a good thing since that’s where I am — or more correctly, where my characters are — in Working Stiffs Mystery #5. It’s April in my story world, and I’m thinking that they should enjoy the sunshine I’m craving. It’s only right, isn’t it? If I can’t have in my real world, I’m going to catch some rays in my imagination.

Speaking of which, it’s time to go do some imagining.

Thanks for stopping by!
